Chico Community Ballet is composed of a young generation of dancers between ages eight and twenty five. The company dancers are chosen from yearly auditions to perform in a full-length ballet and Keeping Dance Alive, a repertory dance concert in Laxson Auditorium at California State University Chico.

The ballet is directed by Deborah Jorritsma , the Artistic Director, Catherine Sullivan-Sturgeon , the Associate Director, and Sheree Henning, the Production Director.
